Design a Gift of Love For Your Spouse or a Very Special Couple!
Create a permanent and tangible expression of your love and commitment to each other on your first anniversary or any other significant anniversary.
Timeless Expressions of Love
In the above examples, many individuals have created beautiful expressions of love for their spouses by putting special sayings about time on their first anniversary love gifts. “Our Love is Timeless.” “No measure of time with you will be long enough, but we’ll start with forever.” “Time has brought your heart to me.” “The only thing more precious than time is who we spend it with.”
Expressions of Love from a Song on Your Anniversary Love Gift
Many times as couples fall in love, they find a very romantic song that reflects their relationship and has special meaning. Often to create a very romantic first anniversary gift, a spouse will have us create a design using some of the lyrics from that favorite song — for his or her first year anniversary gift. In the examples above you will find some of the more popular lyrics that have been requested: “God bless the broken road that led me straight to you.” (Hummon, Boyd, Hanna) “At last my love has come along.” (Etta James) “I’ll follow you down to where forever lies, without a doubt I’m on your side, there is nowhere else I would rather be.” (Shinedown)
From a Romantic Poem
Another great idea given to us by some creative spouses has been to use romantic poems or some great lines from popular or classic love stories on their first anniversary love gift. These lines or poems have special meaning to the couple. Here are a few examples: “If I live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” (A.A. Milne) “Never above you, Never below you, Always beside you.” (Walter Winchell) “Come away with me and I’ll never stop loving you.” (Nora Jones)
Use a Favorite Photo
Do you have a great wedding photo, a honeymoon photo, or a special photo taken while you were dating? Check out the examples in the slide show above. Remember that we want the images to be as large as possible on the clock, and they must fit into a circular pattern. On some images where the bride and groom are standing, and they want them full sized, we put the photo on the side of the clock. With other photos we often place the image on the top half of the clock. Please check out the above examples and see how your photo might fit on the circular face of the clock.
We screen print all of our photos in black and white using enamel ink just as they did a hundred and fifty years ago. This creates a custom first anniversary gift that will last many generations.
